The most important thing is the the construction of water revetment,only suitable revetment landscape in order to create a pleasant and hydrophilic space,play greatest artistic value and economic value of waterscape.In order to solve the water revetment design of residential areas of varying quality problems, this thesis analyzes the basic theory of living quarters water revetment design, design principles and design methods, draws the basic principles and considerations in the design of residential water embankments, and made the construction ideas of public nature, ecology, functionality, design principles, hydrophilic water revetment design method.Article focus to the XingHuWan residential area of Changsha for case analysis,and carried out similar case to studies and comparative analysis,evaluated the application of water revetment design in residential area. Summarize and analyze the advantages of XingHuWan residential,BinJiangXinCheng residential and HongXiNuoYa residential water revetment design,summarize water revetment design should focus on public design, functional design, the regional design, landscape design and plant selection and configuration,provide a reference for the reconstruction of ShuiYunJian residential,aiming to help the water revetment of ShuiYunJian residential maximum.Finally,ShuiYunJian residential of Changsha as an example, through the detailed field research and analysis,discovered their water revetment design have these problems which are the lack of artistic conception,defect of Water circulation,the lack of public waterscape,the lack of hydrophilic property,simple revetment design and lack of plant varieties and so on,suggests some advice which are the transform of landscape design,public design,ecological design and water accessibility design.This article is a great combination of theory and practice which can guide the practice of production and life.
