City river connectivity project has become the water policy to solve the serious problems which has become more and more serious under the new situation. With the city river connectivity project construction practices continue to advance, its impact on the neighbor space are gradually reflected, and it also influence the space variation.With years of urban development process, a large number of lakes in Wuhan are divided into relatively independent river systems or isolated lakes. Its aquatic ecosystem is single and fragile. It is difficult to degrade the continuous input of pollutants. Which causes the water quality to drop day by day. In view of this grim situation, Wuhan hope to make the construction of the Dadonghu ecological water network and the Hanyang "six lakes connected" project as a pilot of river connectivity project. Not only solve the problem of Wuhan flood control, drainage and other issues, but also to create favorable conditions for the ecological water transfer in Wuhan.The Wuhan Dadonghu ecological water network projected in 2009, since then it has a great impact on the neighbor space, such as: The neighbor space of the river connectivity project of donghu and shahu "Chu He Han Jie" region has changed a lot. With the economy and landscape effect gradually appeared, the reasonable planning of the space have been gradually weakened Chu Han street drainage connectivity project in the urban development of ecological corridor. This paper mainly includes the following parts.In the first part, this paper reviews the related research of city river connectivity project and spatial change, and guides the next step of research.The second part, define the neighbor space type and scope of the Wuhan Dadonghu ecological water network. Related research on the classification of city river connectivity project, on the basis of the construction of The Dadonghu ecological water network and the overall planning of Wuhan.Then determine the types of different parts of the neighbor space. Using GIS spatial overlay analysis technique, reference to the ecological sensitivity of the relevant practices. Considering the ecological factors and artificial construction of The Dadonghu ecological water network.
