With the rapid development of national economy and science, civil aviation has gradually become an important force for social development. Due to the high cost and interactive multi-related characteristics of air transportation, once occur aviation accident, it would cause significant loss of life and property. Therefore, the statistical analysis of aviation safety is important to improve the level of aviation safety.Correspondence analysis is a statistical analysis method, it can analyze and classify R-factor and Q-factor at the same time. The study compiled 40 CFIT accidents from Flight Safety Foundation and more than 40000 civil aviation accidents among 1989-2013 from Civil Aviation Safety Information Network of China and Confidential Aviation Safety Reporting System, the study is on the basis of these data to conduct correspondence analysis, analyze the relationships between accidents during flight, take-off and landing phases and their occurring places and months, and analyzes the relationship between the causes and occurring year of CFIT, process the data by using SPSS, then draw two-dimensional charts. The analytical results are: bird/wildlife strike, cabin safety incident and ACAS(TCAS) warning/ less than the interval, dangerous closing/ mid-air collision incident have no significant regional differences; northern, northwestern and south-central regions tend to several aviation safety incidents; northern region tend to runway incidents; eastern region tends to go-around incident; Xinjiang and southwestern region tend to ground-supporting incident; bird/wildlife strike and cabin safety incident tend to spring; bird/wildlife strike and go-around incident tend to fall, fuel-related incident, air-communication disruption incident and extraneous objects incident tend to winter; and different month tends to certain different incidents; human factors and external environment have always been the main causes of CFIT, and with the increase of year, the main causes of CFIT are also changing. Finally, according to the results of the study, the paper discusses the causes, occurring laws and countermeasure of these incidents.
