Research On Planning And Design Of Central Business District Parking Guidance Signs

With the growth of cars’ s number, parking problems in CBD are increasingly significant. Relying on the rapid development of intelligent transportation, the establishment of parking guidance system is an effective measure to solve the problem of parking in the central business district of the city. At present, the country has not yet introduced a unified specification of parking guidance system construction. The parking guidance system has been built with a large difference. Parking guidance sign, which is the main way to release the parking guidance information, has different specifications and is not reasonable. These phenomena have seriously destroyed the harmonious unification of the urban road and the environment, and also affect the image of the city.Firstly, after the investigation and theoretical study of the traffic, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the parking guidance needs in CBD based on the regional and traffic characteristics of the CBD. Then, the paper starts with the introduction of the parking guidance system in CBD, and focuses on the layout and design of the key parts of the system. Through the theoretical analysis to obtain effectively induce information maximum as the target to construct the layout model of secondary parking guidance signs and by K-means clustering algorithm to solve, the results can be used to guide the secondary induction sign layout. Then, aiming at the shortage of logo design in our country guidance and according to international standard as the basis of guidance sign of shape, color, etc. were standardized design and carried out on the characteristics of the design in the level induction sign graphic system and berth display. It has analyzed all levels of parking guidance signs design examples. Finally, the research results are appled in CBD of Z city.By consulting a lot of literature and investigation of the current situation, layout and design of the paper to the parking problems in urban central business district as the breakthrough point, characteristics in the central business district of analysis based on parking guidance signs were studied for the future of the city’s central business district parking induction system construction to provide certain guidance and reference.
