A stereo garage is a synthetic automation system integrating mechanical, electrical, software and communications technology, which can effectively solve the problem of difficult parking in cities. Currently, because of the problem of shortage in urban land use, a vertical movements of three-dimensional garage is chosen as the research object, for its small occupation and high space utilization. Aiming at the issue of low access efficiency, low safety and reliability of control system existing in this type stereo garage, the control system is designed and studied on the basis of the improved access mechanism.The present research compares and analyzes the advantages, prospects and problems of a vertical movements of three-dimensional garage on the basis of the development and present situation of the stereo garage abroad and at home. The overall plan of vertical lift stereo garage is designed, adopting the type of elevator layout, the specific principle and structure of the lifting mechanism, sliding mechanism, rotary table mechanism of the garage was analyzed and designed, and described the control system program of the garage and how it works. The present paper focuses on the design and research of the hardware and software of vertical lift three-dimensional garage control system. S7-300 series PLC of Siemens is chosen as the controller to select the type of detection components, the motor and the inverter and to distribute the addresses of the input and output port of each component. The communication between controller, inverter, encoder was analyzed, and the configuration of control system was completed. In the design of control system software, the function of PC monitor and lower computer was put forward. Besides, the program was divided on functions based on IEC61131-3 standard model, and the PLC programming was completed by using STEP7. In addition, WINCC configuration software was used to configure monitoring system and to design the man-machine interface, and by using the STEP7, WINCC, PLCSIM to co-simulation, the feasibility of PLC programming and the monitoring software was verified. Finally, the safety and reliability of stereo garage control system was analyzed, and the hardware and software measures of improving the safety and reliability of the garage control system was put forward.This article provides an important reference for improving access efficiency, safety and reliability of control system for the design of vertical lift three-dimensional garage.
