The recent years witness the development and prosperity of China's automobile manufacturing industry. At the same time, there comes the car manufacturing accidents. The electrostatic fire happens in car painting job; Dust explosion happens in metal surface treatment process; Fire expands when firefighting equipment are out of date. Events like these undoubtedly are wake-up call for us. It benefits us when we apply scientific safety assessment methods to hidden perils of production area before the accident happened. Firstly, identify and eliminate the source of danger; Secondly, Remind workers, strengthen their safety awareness. Thirdly, by the analysis of the deficiencies existed in the fire control system, prevent the happening of the accident. In this paper, we study the safety evaluation method of automotive industry, the main work and conclusions are as follows:(1) The collection of the accidents and regulatory standards. Collect the manufacturing industry accidents from 2010 to 2015 in our country; Summarize the cause of the accident, collect them and input them into the database; Use the software to realize intelligent query. Finish laws and regulations standard related to automobile industry, such as coating, stamping, welding, metal cutting processing, and input them into database; Provide basic and fundamental data for safety assessment.(2) The choice of security evaluation method of automobile manufacturing enterprise. It is necessary to choose appropriate safety evaluation method for the complexities of the different process in automotive manufacturing industry. Through the analysis of degreasing process, put forward an idea that ICI/MOND is adopted to conduct quantitative evaluation in the spray process in which fire, explosion and toxicity coexist is contained; Through the analysis of drying process, come forward that the risk level is determined by quantitative safety assessment method, and Dow F&EI index method is adopted to evaluate drying process. Through the analysis of stamping equipment, forging equipment, metal cutting processing equipment, mechanical descaling, industrial gas cylinders, casting machinery and dust explosion dangerous sites, come forward that safety check list is used to conduct the assessment.(3) The design of the examination management system. Through the analysis of the accident, related content is designed to improve the safety consciousness of the operators. Develop the examination management system to assessment the operators. The test results can be automatically recorded and saved.(4) The development of software. This article selects C# as the developing language, and developed a software of safety assessment information system on the platform of Visual Studio 2013; Access 2013 database is used to establish database; Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 is used to design the background page. The software is the carrier to achieve all works above.
