Research On Children's Exploratory Activity Space Design

All this time,the space shape of traditional,singular,solid activity module pattern may not feed the need of present educational development and children's exploration.However,the ideal children's activity space design should take full account of children's nature of exploring and good at discovery,even can integrate and consolidate study,game and communications,etc.so as to provide a multiplexed platform focusing on both study and game for children and make them accumulate knowledge in game,foster ability in communication.So present activity space should be more fully functional,and more interactive,experiential in space shape.How to guide children's behavior habit through design,matching with their mental traits and fitting the changes of educational ways.These are the questions designers should think about.Inhance it's significant to study the design of the educational children's exploratory activity space.This article takes the above idea as its starting point and objective,applying the concept of combining study and game,take children's exploratory behavior as theoretical basis and reference.It unscrambles the connotation of exploratory activity space from purpose,approach and performance,analyses children's need for space from the angle of children 's aesthetic appreciation.Then think about embodiment of exploratory,discussing and summarizing the experience and enlightenment and concludes the design principle and strategy to guide practice.The analysis of design principle mainly includes subjectivity,safety,interactivity and edutainment.It is designed to make children freely stroll in an interesting and abundant environment on the premise of quarantine their safety.In design strategy,it stimulates children's exploratory desire,feed their needs and promote communication by means of optimization of spatial form and adjust color proportion.Therefore the design is trying to build a more fit table activity space to children's spiritual culture needs.Respect their autonomy.Let them to be the explorer and founder.
