| Children are the hope and future of the motherland. With the rapid development of social economy in China, the problem of children’s growth has become a topic of general concern in the society of that day.Nowadays, the price of urban residential land keeps rising, and the plot with high volume ratio has become normal.Under these conditions, the green space and public activity space in the community are continuously compressed. For children, the main manifestation is the continuous decline of the area of children’s activity field in the community;the design of children’s outdoor activity field is not targeted and lacks professional and interesting activity space; There are some conflicts between indoor children’s activity space and developers’ interests. In this context, many developers began to explore the creation of semi-outdoor children’s activity space in the overhead floor of residential buildings.Starting from children’s demand for activity space, this paper takes children and overhead floors of residential buildings as research objects, establishes a more systematic research framework through the integration of multi-disciplinary knowledge points and interviews, tries to systematically put forward a reasonable design combination of the two,and sums up the children’s activity space of overhead floors of residential buildings which is really beneficial to children’s growth. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction of the first chapter of this paper. This paper focuses on the background, purpose and significance of this study, the related research status at home and abroad, and clarifies the research framework and ideas of this paper. The second part, that is,the second section of this article, children’s subject research.Firstly, the research scope of children’s age is defined, then the physical and psychological development process of children of all ages is studied, and the different physical activity ability and psychological and emotional status of children in different periods are defined.Secondly,by clarifying the importance of games to children’s growth, the time, types and characteristics of children’s activities in different age groups were studied. The third part, which is the third section of this paper, mainly studies the influence of outdoor temperature, humidity, wind direction and other climatic environment on residentialoverhead floors in hot summer and cold winter areas. These climatic factors will ultimately directly affect the physical comfort of children’s activities in the overhead layer, and will have a greater impact on the subsequent spatial layout and activities facilities. The fourth part, namely the fourth chapter of this article,is the part of practical investigation. The theory originates from practice and guides practice. The purpose of this chapter is to summarize and analyze the real feelings and internal needs of these users through a first-line questionnaire interview with children and parents.Through field research, the pain points and shortcomings of children’s activity space in the overhead floor of residential buildings are sorted out from the architect’s perspective, and a reasonable design method of children’s activity space in the overhead floor is proposed for the following chapters. It provides practical data support. The fifth part, the fifth chapter of this paper,on the basis of the above chapters, preliminarily puts forward the design principles and key points of children’s activity space in the overhead floor of residential buildings, and lists specific design cases. |
