The environment of kindergarten, as children learning, living and playing spaces,not only influence children’s physical and mental, but it is more importantsignificance lies in the enlightenment and education of children. Living in a goodenvironment, children can acquire knowledge and enhance the perceptibility of therelationship between children and other children or with adults. While theenvironment can also dig up the potential of children themselves, so as to achieve thecomprehensive development of body and mind.With the development of research in child psychology andteaching practice, there have been many new trends of preschool children education theories. In the modernadvanced preschool education theory, applying child psychology, behavioral scienceand other scientific theory, the research subject is children and its purpose is to makechildren’s physical and mental, potential and ability to be able to get full development.These new trends also prompted architects to make new thinking for the design of thekindergarten in the new period, and to provide more suitable environment for youngchildren.This paper, on the basis of a comprehensive study related disciplines theoreticallearning such as preschooler psychology, education and architecture and so on,integrated using research methods such as literature, disciplinary, comparativeinduction and case analysis and so on, conducts a systematic study on the designstrategy of activity space in kindergarten with the Influence of the modern concept ofearly childhood education. First, overviewing the background and the dynamic ofpre-school children psychology, education and architecture. Then the paper analyzesthe issues of domestic kindergarten and the successful experience abroad. Finally, itconducts the design strategy of activity space in kindergarten with the Influence of themodern concept of early childhood education.The paper attempts to consummate the theory framework and widening thecontent of the kindergarten architecture through the discussion of the kindergartenarchitecture influenced by the new educational patterns.
