In this paper, according to the design and using of CMS installed in the Tianjin Port Eurasia International Container Terminal Co. Ltd. large hoisting equipment monitoring, the current situation of the large hoisting equipment and its monitoring system of the domestic and overseas was emphatically analyzed and discussed. What's more, the specific demand of the CMS system in the Tianjin Port Eurasia International Container Terminal Co. Ltd. was analyzed in detail. With the applications of the Mesh wireless network technology and CMS system's function. The monitoring system of the own company was design and achieved. The application study was made in the management and collection of the business, fault and data running.According to the application of the CMS in the large hoisting equipment monitoring system, the scheme of designation, the composition of system, the research and the key technology of the implementation were analyzed. The article put forward the solution of the CMS monitoring system and researched the methods of the hardware configuration and web browsing of monitoring system. The exploitation of the container's CMS management system achieved the monitoring management, CMS fault query management, CMS volume queries management, maintenance information management, spreader management, shifts setting management, the data management about current and voltage, fault tracing management of the port hoisting equipment preliminary. It reduce the workload of the management personnel greatly, made the implementation of the real-time and dynamic monitoring on the large loading and unloading equipment. What's more, the fault alarm could be made immediately and the fault could be prejudged by the remote fault auxiliary. Therefore, the processing time could be shortened largely. As the study for the application of the monitoring system, this article made a further discussion on the theoretical issues involved and gave several instances in the practical application, in order to explore the feasibility of these theories in the engineering practice.
