To keep up with foreign railway station for containers to the rapid development of advanced mode in large-scale, specialization and modernization, the State Department, further promoting the rapid development of China's container transportation, established and launched a "Long-term Railway Network Planning" in 2004, which focused on building 18 Railway Container node stations in order to optimize the whole layout of the container handling stations and to achieve the realization of China's railway container transportation development by leaps and bounds. Based on the construction of Xi'an railway logistics center container node station, my paper does some research in the analysis of the market situation and development prospects of railway container logistics center, analyzing the great significance of handling equipment selection in current studies. Through the comprehensive and systematic study on the comparison of common railway container handling equipment and the development of Xi'an railway and logistics center, my paper established a mathematical models of handling equipment selection for Xi'an railway container logistics center, which is based on the theoretical analysis of the level. It can scientifically calculate out the types and the accurate numbers of major loading and unloading container equipment in Xi'an railway logistics center, which provide some theoretical source for the improvement of operational efficiency and transport capacity in Xi'an Railway logistics center and also provide some theoretical basis to promote the development of modern logistics and the advanced level for the station in large-scale.(1) From the characteristics of the operations, technical performance, operating costs, etc, I have made a comprehensive and systematic comparative analysis on common-rail container handling equipment, such as positive suspended, the track-type tires and gantry cranes, in order to carry out a theoretical basis for the selection of handling machinery in Xi'an railway logistics center.(2) According to the design and planning from Xi'an railway logistics center, it does some investigations and studies of the logistics center in Xi'an Railway Construction, depending on which it analyzes the major problems faced in the selection of equipment. Through collected data and forecasts, it demonstrates the equipment selection of Xi'an Railway Logistics Center, a major role in the construction and significance.(3) According to the rules for selection of railway container handling equipment and the comparison between two different selection methods—choosing qualitatively and quantitatively, it makes an establishment of a logistics center in Xi'an Railway loading and unloading equipment selection model, based on the fuzzy decision theory and the AHP.(4) On the basis of scientific and technical evaluation system, it constructs a judging selection matrix of the loading and unloading equipment through vertical consistency and level of vertical sorting test, and draws a conclusion that the main field box station in Xi'an railway container logistics center should be the main priority to the use of cranes loading and unloading track process Central Station transportation systems to enhance the ability.(5) On the basis of the Xi'an railway container logistics center traffic projections, it makes out a layout program for Xi'an railway container logistics center, which can calculate out the number of major handling equipments.
