Highway Construction Project Management Optimization And Improvement Research

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress assembled,the Party Central Committee Comrade Xi Jinping as general secretary has launched a series of new governance measures,China gradually enters a “new-normal” stage in many fields of economy,politics and culture.Meanwhile,the highway project construction management also follows the reform bandwagon swept across the country.In this context,it is particularly important to study optimization and improvement on the highway project construction management.The highway project is closely related to the national economy and the people's livelihood,as well as systematical project which involve the Client,design institutes,Contractors,supervision engineers and other related organizations' participation.The highway project management is the inevitable outcome of the highway construction marketing development,along with the social division of labor increasingly refined and degree of specialization increased,the highway construction marketing standardization will also be greatly improved.Integration of the five units namely the Client,survey and design institutes,Contractors,Supervision Engineers during the whole project implementation(hereinafter called the Five Units Integration)will lay solid foundation for project quality control and development;and have long-term benefits on full ranges of control and optimization on highway construction.This paper studied and analyzed the present status of highway project construction management,all parties responsibilities fulfillment,construction standardization,enterprises management and core competence improvement;meanwhile,this paper discussed necessity and importance on project management optimization and improvement during the new stage based on the case study of a certain highway project in Kunming.This paper summarized the project management on the bases of analyses,and pointed out the essentials of highway project construction optimization and improvement.And this paper also provided theoretical and practical references for the future highway projects construction management and study.
