Research On The Critical Influence Factors Of IPD Construction Supply Chain Performance

Imbalance in benefit and risk allocation are the main causes of long-term competitive and adversarial relationship between the project participants.It is this relationship that results in the days,cost,quality management out of control of constructing project severe effects on the construction supply chain performance.Therefore,it is significant for improving construction supply chain performance to explore how to improve the relationship between the project participants.Integrated Project Delivery(IPD)as a new method play a more active role in overcome long-term competitive and adversarial relationship between the owner and the contractor in that the conflicts of interest and risk aversion.However,due to the bondage of historical,the practice effect of IPD is not satisfactory in our country,so many businesses had been unwilling or afraid to try.This is a serious impediment to the further carrying out and developing of IPD in the field of our country's projects and also negative to the improve of construction supply chain performance.Therefore it is necessary to study the critical influence factors of IPD construction supply chain performance for provide theoretical support or practice guidance for the participants and application promotion of IPD.This thesis uses the method of literature analysis,expert survey and interview,combination of theory and practice,qualitative and quantitative analysis,and the main research work and results are as follows:(1)Proposed a systematic success criteria of construction supply chain,through the study of domestic and foreign literature.From two aspects: construction supply chain life cycle and different participants.(2)Got the main influence factors set of IPD construction supply chain performance.Through the method of theory and frequency analysis collected 56 initial factors,and then use the method of expert survey and interview supplement or subtract the factors in initial set then got 44 correction factors and divided into 5 dimensions,finally in order to made the best independence between the factors,applied attribute reduction of the RS theory for correction Set and got 31 main influence factors.(3)Utilized the method of RS-DEMATEL recognized the critical influence factors of IPD construction supply chain performance.Through the model test of the RS-DEMATEL,clarified the relationship between main factors and factors contributed to the performance.Obtained 21 critical influence factors including team building and member selection,goal congruence,dispute resolution,BIM and so on.By the further analyzed and discussed,divided it into 5 more specific dimensions,including strategic alignment,collaboration effectiveness,process effectiveness,resource guarantee and legal guarantee.(4)Proposed the countermeasures and suggestions of improved construction supply chain performance.The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were given for the critical influence factors.It should be interpreted from five aspects of consistent strategic,effective collaboration etc.to realized improve the performance of construction supply chain.Furthermore,should be combined with the project make differentiated management.
