Research On Extraction Method Of Construction Elements Of Town And Village Residence In Tibetan Areas

In southwest of China,Tibetans areas are called “the roof of the world”.As the core areas in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,it forms a comparatively living environment with its towering height,which has laid foundation for typical culture of various nationalities of Tibetan areas.As the material carrier of Tibetan typical culture,local residence of Tibet is considered as one of the fruits shown that various nationalities in Tibetan areas fight against severe natural environment and integrate their regional cultures.In addition,it has been one of the precious treasures in the house storing diversified architectures.With connection of Tibetan society with modern society,the formation of subject consciousness with the representation of local residence has been eroded by global popular culture dominated by western countries.Moreover,it has the development tendency of similarity and leads to serious crisis for heritage of regional architectural cultures.Actually,the configuration mode of traditional town and village residence in Tibet has been developed earlier than various elements of construction.From the perspective of architectural heritage of Tibetan traditional residence,the thesis adopts relevant research methods of ecology,humanity geography,communication studies,graphic vectorization,trying to extract the constructional methods of local residence of Tibetan towns and villages.The thesis is divided into three parts and six chapters.Starting from background and variety of Tibetan local architecture,the thesis researches on extraction method of constructional elements on the basis of influential elements in the constructional state of Tibetan local architectures.As the initial preparation for the thesis,Part 1 is the prologue which introduces the origin and background of the project and makes clear the significance and purpose of research the topic.In addition,it interprets the concepts of Tibetan architecture,town and village residence and constructional element.Finally,it determines the research thinking and structure of the topic.Part 2 of the thesis is the body which contains Chapter 2,3,4,5.Firstly,it makes a brief narration for the natural and humanity background of Tibetan local residential architecture and makes a classified summary on Tibetan residence according to above background.Through analyzing the background and variety type of town and village residential architecture in Tibetan areas,it analyzes the elements of influencing construction in residential form from material level of Tibetan ecological view,time and space view,protection view and spiritual level of religious belief and natural worship.In the end,it explores extraction method of implementing the research and researching the constructional elements.In the last part,it is the conclusion.Through extraction method of construction elements in Tibetan town and village residence,it hopes to expand the research on relevant theories.
