With the development of the rural economics and the advancement of the standard of living, residence building has come into a new developing phase. Most of the villages and small towns arrive at a good brick house level. However, many farmers often ignore the continuance development of the residence environment and emphasize lower construction cost. In addition, there are no standard to consult about architecture design, thermal design, and building energy conservation. So, in the rural housing, residence environment is bad, envelope on residence is thin and weak, and the level of the heat preservation is low. The rural residence buildings run into high consuming, high venting, and low comforting. Therefore, it is important to solve these problems according as the characteristic of the villages.In this thesis, the status of the residence environment about Guanzhong region is investigated. First, the space function and streamline pattern are analyze. Second, aiming at existent problems, some reasonable countermeasures are summarized. Third, indoor thermal environment in the region is investigated by testing the temperature in indoor and outdoor in winter and summer, respectively. Fourth, aiming at villages' especial heat supply manner, we point out that the attenuation degreee from indoor temperature to exterior-protected structure should be reduced. Fifth, the guide line of the quantity of heat representative houses is computed by combining architecture consuming heat computing method. Sixth, to satisfy thermal design and improve heat comfort, improved energy-saving design schemes about wall, roof, door and window, floor are proposed that can save energy 30 percent and 50 percent.The schemes that can save energy 30 percent and 50 percent are simulated by using DeST-h software. The comfort of indoor heat environment and architectural energy-saving guide line are deduced by analyzing indoor temperature, simulation temperature, and winter heating energy cost, in summer and winter, respectively. The proposed schemes are validated by combining economy and zoology analysis.
