“Seam”-Formless Form In The Architectural Field

Aristotle said: “after it meets the need of people's life,people begin to study philosophy.” What is philosophy? Philosophy is back,back to the origin,the greatest truths are the simplest,make the world and the life simple to the origin which can't be retreated.Philosophically,building is to provide an “existence of space”,the so-called “curtilage,the origin of people”.What is a building? Earthquake victims said: “the place which can be used as shelter,let me sleep is building.” It is just meet the requirements of people's minimum living,it's just close to the standard of animals.But the people are at the top of the food chain,they are not simple animals.The most different from animals is that people have spiritual needs.Earthquake victims' requirement of building is helpless choice in such a situation.When building comes out of such minimum requirements,it is an art,a living soul and can interact with people.It's just like the grapes in the vineyard,and the grape wines in the court,they have already been at the different hierarchy.Architecture has developed a lot up to now,and has formed a series of rules of composition such as the building principle: solidity,utility,beauty.The designers are teached the experience when they receiving professional education at school.The experiences is worked as the basic literacy of the architect.The pursuit of form is endless,many buildings have beautiful appearance,but they lack soul.So the architects need more thoughts whey designing.Standing on the shoulders of predecessors,we need to deep thinking,to discover some details ignored by us,which I call “secondary law”.So this article hopes to study such an often neglected construction elements in a new look to get some “secondary law”.This paper firstly presents the background of the discussion is in the construction field,by building a simple explanation,then a simple discussions on articles.The second chapter is the basic concept of carding and analysis from the perspective of time and space layout of traditional Chinese architecture building in the seam,and some invisible form of philosophical meaning.Third chapter start formal analysis,starting from the 3 d architectural space of the familiar,study of various aspects,these aspects are summarized simply after ground ahead for the fourth chapter,the fourth chapter mainly discuss the reconstruction of old architecture of the fourth dimension of time to crack,this is the innovation of this article,introduced the concept of time in space,make the shape of seam become invisible,and finally the fifth chapter carried out for extension of time and space.
