| Chinese Baroque historical block is an important historical relic in Harbin. Itcontains a wealth of historical information and the rich cultural atmosphere. It hadhistory atmosphere and regional culture once, however, with the rapid developmentof urbanization. In2007, the government had updated some of the historical block,but the using results after the completion were unsatisfactory. In2010, the secondphase stated up, developing with the first phase. Today, some shops have beenopened. The research object of this paper is South Two Street, and investigate thepost occupancy evaluation of the second phase project.Recently, the research and application of POE has been relatively mature inothter countries, our country has began to study on POE field closely following withforeign countries. The POE research of domestic reseach is mainly aimed at buildingor urban public space such as the POE research of square or park or school. But thePOE research of historic district basically has nothing. The objective of our study isimprove the system with qualitative evaluation through the POE, and make thequantitative study of the POE, through the investigation of the improved ChineseBaroque historical block.Based on the protection of the historical block and the study of correlationtheory, this paper surveys the Chinese Baroque historical block with the researchmodel of the POE. The study attaches importance to the requirement of users, andanalyzes the essential factor of the historical block on urban design. It bulids thefactors set that has three points includes functional requirements and the feelings ofbehavior space and the spiritual experience. The study analysis the data, and gets theindex system of the POE evaluation, and summarizes the conclusion. The paperproposes the design principles of unfinished Chinese Baroque historical block inhistoric buildings and space environment and spiritual contest based on the POEevaluation, to feedback on suggestions for the subsequent renovation project. |
