Study On Optimal Operation Of The Propane Deasphalting Unit

Crude oil deep processing has become an important part of the oil refining industry.Solvent deasphalting process as one of the main process of heavy oil is an,has an irreplaceable role and status.The rapid development of transportation enterprise in our country,using the naphthenic base oil by solvent deasphalting process raw materials,in the production of lubricating oil at the same time also can produce all kinds of brand road asphalt.The high quality low freezing every year 2 million tons of heavy oil in xinjiang oilfield,it can produce vacuum residuum 1.176 million tons/year.The vacuum residuum containing 300000 tons of heavy oil high quality components,in order to make full use of this part of the high quality resources,need to have 1 million tons/year propane deasphalting process capability.In this paper,by introducing a company asphalt processing present situation,elaborated the propane deasphalting plant allocation,the reason for the choice of processing scheme and advantages.Then introduces the newly built 0.8 million tons/year propane deasphalting unit overview and restricting the processing capacity of the problems after the completion of the new device.By changing the large compressor cylinder,add defoaming agent system,flush air cooler tube bundle,then add cycle diesel washing line,device processing capacity has improved.However,actual operation,the author found out that asphalt flash system in design flaws: asphalt flash tower(D-107)small size of design,and flash tower import pipeline short distance to the top of the tower,leading to the top of the tower rising export pipeline gas propane gas velocity is too big,easy to foam entrainment asphalt,asphalt to carry the propane gas into the air cooling tube bundle after coking,small focal piece by medium pressure after the propane tanks(E-111),influence of the cooler cooling effect after long-term accumulation,medium voltage system increased temperature and pressure,further restricting device was improved.D-107 in the asphalt flash tower to analysis,find the root cause of asphalt flash tower occurred with inadequate lies in two phase separation,thus increase the separation time of two phase separation could be achieved.As the design and the basic operating parameters,redesign and putting-in-service proactively asphalt flash tower D-107 / A.Through the above reform,make 0.8 million tons/year propane deasphalting unit was raised to the design value.At the same time,two sets of propane deasphalting unit processing scheme optimization,companies gain greater benefits.The article also on two different operation condition of the technology of propane deasphalting unit made a summary,at the same time of 0.8 million tons/year propane deasphalting unit for calibration.Proposed 0.8 million tons/year propane deasphalting unit was running down the problems that should pay attention to.For the operation of the similar equipment management provides a good experience.
