Packaging is not only a segment of production,but it beautifies enterprise products and facilitates commodity circulation.As a Minnan(southern Fujian)native,I have committed myself to promote Minnan tea culture.For a long time,I’m seeking an expressive image which can not only fuse the traditional tea culture and the modern new culture,but is capable of presenting the cultural connotation of Minnan tea."Guangxiaogun",a unique cultural symbol of Minnan tea,is featured with rich local characteristic,and it has carried forward the enterprise culture and Minnan tea culture to the world.As we can all see,it’s of great significant for enterprises to blend local culture into modern packaging.With an in-depth probe into Minnan tea culture,this paper has successfully related tea cake packaging with the promotion of Minnan tea culture.After analyzing the existing problems on the packaging of tea cake,this paper has brought about thought provoking ideas on how to spread Minnan tea culture throughout the world.Taking the Pillow Cake as the study case,the paper advocates that innovative modern design for tea cake shall give consideration of both local elements and modern innovation.With its rich local characteristic and modern time feature,the new design for Pillow Cake is obviously very successful.
