Agricultural non-point source pollution comes mainly from agricultural production activities,such as the use of pesticide and fertilizers,livestock and poultry manure produced,rural garbage and sewage,under the action of land surface runoff and groundwater seepage,these pollutants flow from the agricultural ecosystem to the water,soil and so on,and cause pollution.This paper selects Kaifeng City of Henan Province as the research object,through the investigation of local yearbook and questionnaires,to understand the basic situation and agricultural production activities of interviewed farmers,as well as the non-point source pollution situation and cognition.By using contingent valuation method and Logistic model to study the agricultural non-point pollution pollution control in farmers’ cognition and intention,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)Kaifeng Fu Xiang district is located in the main agricultural production area of Henan province.Its geographical location and natural conditions provide favorable conditions for its agricultural development.In recent years,the excessive utilization of fertilizers and pesticides,improper disposal of agricultural film and crop straw,livestock and poultry breeding industry waste,and the rural living garbage problem in the rural area of Xiangfu district,all of the above problems make the city threatened by agricultural non-point source pollution,which have universality,concealment,hysteresis and risk characteristics.Agricultural non-point source pollution not only affects the soil and water in this area,but also has an impact on the local atmospheric conditions,even on the growth of plants and animals and human health and the surrounding area;(2)The analysis of farmers’ willingness to pay for the process of pollution prevention and control of agricultural non-point source is based on contingent valuation method,the statistical results show that the farmer’s cognition of the related concepts of non-point source pollution is still lacking,most people don’t understand not even heard of the concept of non-point source pollution,not to mention the urgency of the dangers of non-point source pollution and its governance,which largely restricts the implementation of environmental protection measures in the rural areas and the propulsion of rural non-point source pollution governance.In addition according to farmers’ cognition of the means of production,farmers due to lack of knowledge,there is the blind use of the means of production in the actual process of agricultural production,which directly led to the abuse and excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,improper waste production data disposal,these are the main source of agricultural non-point source pollution is.Arch-criminal cause of pollution in rural areas,thus improve the farmers’ cultural level of knowledge,it is necessary to popularize agricultural knowledge.(3)Logistic regression model was used to study the willingness to pay and influencing factors of agricultural non-point source pollution control.The results show that respondents’ educational level,political appearance,agricultural product income,annual household income,and the perception of non-point source pollution had an important influence on Farmers’ willingness to pay for non-point sources of pollution.Party members or village cadres were more likely to accept non-point pollution measures than,and the willingness to pay for pollution control was also stronger.With the improvement of the cultural level of respondents,the prevention and payment willingness of agricultural non-point source pollution has also improved,that is,the higher the level of respondents’ cultural level,the stronger the willingness to pay.With the increase of the proportion of agricultural income,the willingness to pay were more strong,in addition,the respondents understanding of non-point source pollution is an important factor that affects the agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control of respondents’ willingness to pay,respondents with more knowledge about non-point source pollution,are easier to accept controlling non-point source pollution.Through the survey,the respondents’ gender and age have no significant influence on their willingness to pay.(4)According to the research results,the current agricultural non-point source pollution in China is facing problems such as inadequate understanding of farmers’ weak awareness of environmental protection,non-point source pollution prevention and control technology,Therefore,the following suggestions are proposed to improve the overall environmental awareness of farmers,strengthen the publicity and popularization of non-point source pollution prevention and control technology,and improve the government’s policy of encouraging and supporting pollution prevention and control.
