In China,agricultural non-point source pollution is still a major difficulty in environmental protection,which seriously affects the water environment and restricts the green development of agriculture.Shangrao City is known as the "granary in the northeast of Jiangxi Province".In recent years,the development of agriculture in Shangrao city has been continuously strengthened,bringing huge ecological and environmental pressure to the water body of Xinjiang River and Poyang Lake.With the promotion of the construction of the ecological civilization pilot area in Jiangxi province,the environmental protection efforts are increasing day by day.How to increase the control of agricultural non-point source pollution in Shangrao city has become an urgent problem to be solved.Based on statistical yearbook data,this study estimated the discharge characteristics of agricultural non-point source pollutants in Shangrao City using the discharge coefficient method.The Pearson correlation coefficient and Kuznets curve were used to analyze the relationship between agricultural non-point source pollution and agricultural economic development and production.A questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the willingness of farmers to participate in agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control.Combined with the willingness of local farmers to participate in the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution,the prevention and control strategies suitable for agricultural non-point source pollution of Shangrao City were proposed.The relevant research results can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the sustainable development of agriculture and the construction of ecological civilization in Shangrao City.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The discharge and its influencing factors of agricultural non-point source pollution in Shangrao City were analyzed.The discharge of TN and TP from rural domestic sewage and garbage in Shangrao City showed a downward trend,with a relatively small proportion of the total annual emissions.The TN and TP discharge from the planting industry showed a downward trend,but the annual emissions were still at a high level,posing a significant risk of eutrophication in the surrounding water bodies.It is necessary to increase prevention and control efforts to ensure that the annual emissions are reduced to a lower level.The annual changes in TN and TP emissions in the livestock and poultry breeding industry have fluctuated,but in recent years,they showed an upward trend,and it is necessary to increase prevention and control efforts.The discharge of domestic sewage,domestic garbage and planting pollutants increased with the decrease of the gross output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,vegetable planting area and vegetable yield,but increased with the increase of meat yield.The pollutants discharge from livestock and poultry breeding industry increased with grain sowing area,but decreased with vegetable planting area and vegetable yield.There is a linear relationship between the discharge of rural domestic sewage pollutants and the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,indicating that the discharge of rural domestic sewage pollutants decreased with the development of economy.There is a linear relationship between the pollutant discharge of rural domestic waste and the gross output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,indicating that the pollutant discharge of rural domestic waste declined with the development of economy.The EKC curve between the pollutant discharge of livestock and poultry breeding industry and the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery showed a positive "U" shape,indicating that the pollutant discharge of rural domestic waste showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing with the development of economy.There is a linear relationship between the emissions of pollutants from the planting industry and the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,indicating that the emissions of pollutants from the planting industry showed a downward trend with the economic development.(2)The willingness of farmers to participate in agricultural non-point source pollution control in Shangrao City was analyzed by questionnaire and empirical analysis.Farmers did not know enough about the government’s policies to prevent agricultural non-point source pollution,and the government needs to increase publicity.Farmers did not know enough about the possible ecological environment pollution caused by agricultural production and the impact on agricultural production and daily life.The government needs to increase publicity.Most farmers were very willing to accept the preferential policies issued by the government to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution,and the government should issue more preferential policies to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution.Most farmers were very reluctant to the administrative measures introduced by the government to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution.The government should be cautious in introducing relevant administrative measures to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution.Most farmers were willing to use environmental protection technology measures in the agricultural production process.The government should increase the application and promotion of environmental protection technology measures in the agricultural production process to ensure that agricultural non-point source pollutant emissions are reduced from the source.The age of farmers and whether they have participated in technical training significantly affected their willingness to participate in agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control,while the relationship between gender and education level and farmers’ willingness to participate in agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control was not significant.(3)Measures for the preventing and controlling of agricultural non-point source pollution in Shangrao City were formulated.First,the new vision for development should be fully,accurately and comprehensively implemented to promote ecological progress among the people.Second,the implementation of various policies to reduce pollution and carbon emission and benefit farmers should be strengthened to fully mobilize farmers’ enthusiasm to participate in the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution.Third,the supervision of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control should be strengthened to improve the efficiency of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control.Fourth,the training of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control technology should be strengthened to improve the quality of agricultural practitioners.Fifth,a circular agricultural production system should be built to improve the efficiency of agricultural resource utilization.
