Application Studies Of Danzhai Miao Batik In Modern Women’s Apparel Design

Batik,as one of the oldest forms of knitting painting craft,shows its ethical artistic value and practical value for it’s traditional manual painting and delicate charm pattern charm,which contains the diligence and wisdom of minorities and is greatly appreciated by modern people.Danzhai Miao batik from South Qiandongnan has a unique batik culture and stands out among Chinese ethical folk forms.Above all,Bailing Miao,a branch of of Miao,has greatest achievements in batik art with regional and aesthetic features.At present,the heritage and development of this traditional craft is faced with great challenges.How to preserve and inherit this uniquely glamorous craft has come to people’s attention and meditation.This thesis studies artistic characteristics,design implication,and cultural value of Danzhai Miao batik,from aspects of origin,development,current situation,different with other areas of Guizhou province,process flow,composition form and models etc.It deeply analyzes Danzhai Miao batik craft method and its application of design pattern in women’s apparel.Besides,it classifies Danzhai Miao batik crafts according to the needs of modern women’s apparel fashion design.It analyzes its feasibility and availability in practical application to select the most typical visionary element to process with product development.Therefore,Danzhai Miao batik craft can be well preserved in form of modern women’s apparel,which not only shows its cultural value in life,but also strengthens the sense of culture in modern women’s apparel.Integration of this ethical craft and modern women’s apparel design gives people a better understanding of this traditional ethical culture while enriching cultural connotations of modern women ’ s apparel design.It is hoped that this traditional craft can be better preserved and development at maximum and local people attach more important to this traditional craft.It will not only provide research route for the heritage,innovation and development of Danzhai Miao batik,but only provide valuable references for modern women’s apparel design.
