With the rapid progress of urbanization in China and the improvement of people's living standards, huge amount of garbage is produced. This is a more and more serious problem of environment. And many cities are facing the garbage siege situation. Therefore, people's consciousness of environment protection is increasing. Environmental protection has become a global concern. Therefore, more and more environmental protection equipments have been developed. Garbage compression transfer station as a typical environmental sanitation equipment, is recognized by many people, and it has improved the environment greatly. It eliminates the secondary pollution and reduces mosquitoes and fly. It heightens the transport efficiency, and greatly reduces the labor intensity of the workers. Also it can greatly reduce the operating cost.The performance of garbage compression station based on PLC control system directly affects the degree of automation of the normal operation and the operation of the whole compression stations. This project designed the garbage compression station with vertical compression method, electro-hydraulic control, mainly formed the two aspects of electrical and hydraulic. The theoretical analysis and combined with the engineering practice were done. The intelligent garbage compression station control was realized.Based on the sufficient study of domestic and foreign garbage compression station control systems, combined with the actual conditions of the vertical type garbage compress station, the overall scheme of the control system was designed; the OMRON PLC was used as the controller. And then with the functional requirements and the overall structure of the system, detailed description of the hardware design and the software realization of control system selection of main circuit, system hardware design, including the system various equipment components rendering were given. PLC I/O address assignment and circuit design, software design includes the design of PLC control program and the touch panel monitor configuration was realized. In order to realize man-machine.interface, touch panel monitor configuration with Weinview touch screen software as the carrier, was used. The compression equipment running condition monitoring and process for the production of remote control and management was realized. And the fuzzy control algorithm was applied to the garbage compression; a kind of fuzzy controller is designed based on OMRON PLC to monitor the garbage compression box filling degree, which avoided the inconvenience caused by artificial judgment errors. At the same time through the intelligent classification of garbage, reduction of equipment failure, to ensure the normal operation of the equipment work.In the design of hydraulic system, according to the requirements of garbage compression equipment operating conditions, the design of hydraulic system principle diagram of the equipment, and analyzed the hydraulic cylinder action sequence, the main parameters of hydraulic system was calculated. The selection of the system of the hydraulic components was completed.Using PLC control technology and combined with the corresponding hydraulic control system, fundamentally overcame the shortcomings and deficiencies of the original system, it has the characteristics of high reliability, good openness, high degree of automation, and has wide development prospects.
