Research On The Evaluation Model Of APP For The Elder Based On Grey AHP

With the popularity of Internet,mobile applications have become a part of people's life,along with the aging of population,more and more old people begin to use mobile APP,the design of APP for the elderly has become a focus of human-computer interaction.At present,the discussion on the design of APP for the elderly is mainly divided into two categories: analysis of the characteristics of the elderly to interact with APP from the interactive perspective of behavior,prediction of heuristic principles for APP design of the aged;from the perspective of the whole comprehensive consideration of the elderly APP user experience level,aided design assessment of project decision making.At present,most of the researches are focusing on the research of prediction,and the main is on the influence of the physiological and psychological characteristics with the APP design for the elderly.However,studies have found that,compared to young people,older people in the process of interaction with APP will encounter more problems,that is,the elderly user experience is not ideal.Therefore,this study will build a user experience evaluation model which is suitable for the elderly APP from the perspective of evaluation,helping designers understand the level of user experience of APP in the elderly,aiding them decisions making.The study proposed user experience model for the elder APP combined with GRA and AHP based on related theory such as user experience,grey theory,analytic hierarchy process and group decision making.First,we established user experience evaluation system for the elderly APP,which consists of 3 layers and 15 evaluation indexes;Then calculate the weight of evaluation index by AHP,and deal with groups' attitudes by group decision theory;Finally,we analysised results generating from the evaluation experiment by GRA,and selectthe optimal solution.This study puts forward a user experience evaluation model for elderly APP basedon Grey-AHP method,of which,grey relational analysis is very suitable for the elderly characteristics ? APP features and the essence of user experience.In addition,the analytic hierarchy process combining the group decision can integrate the weight of indexs from different stakeholders effectively,and making the evaluation results more objective.From the results of research,the proposed model can evaluate the elderly APP user experience level effectively and help designers find the optimal prototype among the candidates,and obtaining valuable clues for design.
