Application Potential For Desalination Water In Tianjin

With the rapid economic development, the demand for water resource is increasing. Water resource has become one of the main factors which restrict the development of society. A variety of new water sources has become effective complements to natural sources water which increasing the water supply. Recycled water, desalination water, rain water, brackish water and other unconventional water sources have been increasingly widespread used.With the development of desalination technology, more and more desalination projects have been constructed in the Coast of China. After the desalination project completed, the desalination water has become an important component of the regional water supply. The desalination water has high quality, because of the special production process. There have some different water demands in the users between natural sources and desalination water. The using of desalination water needs appropriate facilities and unique usage patterns. The using equipment for desalination water is still defective in the district where the natural sources water supplied for many years.This study carries out the analysis of desalination technology and water quality. Through the research of desalination water used in Singapore, Australia and Spain, we summarize the international development situation and the utilization way of desalination water. We simultaneously investigate the current situation of desalination water and conclude the use method in nation. From the capacity, process, quality and utilization ways aspects, we investigate the desalination project in Tianjin and analyze the problems in the process of using. By comparison the mode, target, district, demand, capacity, process, security, price and influence between the desalination and natural sources water, we point out their own characteristics and manners. Analysis on the using potential of desalination water in Tianjin, we expound the demand of users, clarify the region division and estimate the potential of desalination water. According to the characteristics of water use, we present the using method of desalination water which suit for Tianjin.
