Earthquake disaster threats to human with its burstiness and unpredictability again and again. China is prone to earthquakes. Earthquake disasters in our country have become one of the most serious constraints of the development of social economic construction. In the emergency mapping field, comprehensive evaluation researches of earthquake disaster grades can facilitate decision support, theoretical methods and historical data resources in the future.Based on GIS technology application research in spatial statistical analysis, this paper analyzed the emergency mapping disaster factors statistically, built evaluation models of earthquake disaster grades and formed a comprehensive statistical assessment system of earthquake disaster grades at the beginning of earthquake disasters happened. Firstly, from the perspective of the rationality and availability, this paper introduced several statistical analysis methods of earthquake disaster factors. The statistical analysis methods carried on the analysis from vulnerability, seismic intensity and historical earthquake data on the whole. Then through the statistical analysis results of the disaster factors, this paper built evaluation models of earthquake disaster grades using some principles and applications of comprehensive statistical analysis methods, such as grey cluster method, artificial neural networks, principal component analysis and the disaster degree criterion.This paper analyzed comprehensive statistical methods and models of the earthquake disaster factors in the emergency mapping field, as the experimental background to the ya'an earthquake in 2013. In consideration of the availability, the operability and the analyzability of disaster factors in the initial period of the disaster, the experiment chose three disaster factors as follows:disaster-affected population, damaged area of buildings and the length of the damaged roads. Among them, the statistical results of the disaster-affected population and the damaged area of buildings obtained from the corresponding relation among the disaster-affected population scale, the average seismic intensity and building damage rate. The statistical results of the length of damaged roads are calculated by the rate of seismic intensity destruction. Through the grey cluster method, the experiment in this paper built the model and improved the selected cluster indicators to obtain the comprehensive evaluation grades results. This paper put forward a comprehensive statistical evaluation system which was applied early in the earthquake disaster. It is not only the foundation of earthquake disaster statistics research in the future but also the basis and reference which governments or departments project rescue force, deploy earthquake relief and implement earthquake emergency planning.
