Study Of Comprehensive Assessment On Core Competitiveness Of Chinese 31 Provincial Construction Industry During 2006-2014

Under the background of the world economic slowdown, faced with the complicated international situation and the severity of the economic downturn, China has, overall, achieved a stable performance while at the same time securing progress on its economy. And construction as one of the pillar industries of the national economy, the promotion of core competitiveness in provincial construction industry, and the formation of competitive advantage of their own will directly affect the sustainable and harmonious development of regional economic. Therefore, how to enhance the core competitiveness of provincial construction industry has become one of the key issues to strengthen national competitiveness and promote the national economic development.From the point of competitiveness, this thesis regards core competitiveness of 31 Chinese provincial construction industries as the research object, building an evaluation index system and model which has carried out systematic evaluation analysis of it during the year of 2006-2014 and provided decision-support for enhancement of the core competitiveness of construction industry.First of all, it will do in-depth analysis of factors which influences core competitiveness in Chinese construction industry from six aspects of the industrial organization structure, production elements, demand conditions, relevant and auxiliary industries, enterprise strategy and structure, and government behavior, combining with status quo of Chinese provincial construction industry.Secondly, based on analyses and conclusion of factors which influences core competitiveness in construction industry and the research results both at home and abroad, it builds an evaluation index system on core competitiveness of Chinese provincial construction industry which includes 3 dimensions of production element resources, development and support conditions, industrial structure and benefits and 21 detailed index; meanwhile, it sets up a measure model and clustering analysis model about core competitiveness of Chinese provincial construction industry that systematically figure out their scores, rankings and classification during 2006-2014.At last, through main factor analysis and clustering analysis on core competitiveness of 31 Chinese provincial construction industries respectively from two aspects of time series and regional view, it explores situation changes, regional differences and spatial characteristics which shows that: there are obvious regional differences on core competiveness of Chinese provincial construction industry, eastern seaboard is better than mid-west regions and presents gradient distribution. Integrating the results of main factor analysis and clustering analysis, the core competitiveness of 31 Chinese provincial construction industries can be divided into 4 levels, respectively leading type, challenge type, catching type and backward type, and in wake of integrated analysis, to come up with targeted countermeasures.
