Companies have been immense pressure over the past 20 years to produce quality products faster and more cost efficient due to fierce competition and globalization. To cope with an increasingly uncertain and rapidly changing commercial environment, companies such as Ford and General Electric were able to achieve an improved competitive position through the supply chain integration management to continuously cut operation costs to meet the profit bottom line.The terminology "supply chain management" is used frequently in today’s materials management environment and is generally associated with advanced information.This paper will choose case study methodology to investigate the effectiveness of supply chain management within Service Company in China. This case study comes from one famous W enterprise in banking and retail in China. The researcher tried to make a detailed study of performance before and after implementing supply chain integration within this enterprise.The result of the investigation indicated that supply chain integration management is very effective in enhancing the promised benefits.The supply chain integration management has brought the benefits as following:a) improved information transparency in supply chain b) shortened the lead time c) optimized national wide warehousing The supply chain integration management to continuously cut operation costs to meet the profit bottom line and improve the company competitive in the fierce market.Although there are some obstacles and negative effects of supply chain management, it is still an effective strategy in Chinese service industry, especially under the circumstances of establishing the Chinese characteristic market economy.
