Study On The Effects Of Supply Chain Integration On Supply Chain Performance

The SCM capability competition between the companies becomes a very importantmanifestation of modern enterprise competition, and the SCM capability also becomesthe core competence of the company. In this competition model, how to improve SCMcapabilities is a very important study point. Research and practice show the SCMintegration is one of the key methods to enhance the SCM capability, and SCMperformance is the one to evaluate SCM capability, so investigate the relationshipbetween SCM integration and SCM performance has very important theoretical andpractical importance.In this thesis, summarized the studies regarding the relationship between SCMintegration and SCM performance, also illustrate the concept and connotation, summedup the current academic studies on the effective model, and provides theoretical supportfor the empirical analysis.By summarizing the domestic and foreign scholars’ view, divided the SCMintegration into internal integration and external integration, the divided this twodimensions into more detail level, internal integration has internal informationintegration and internal process integration, external integration has integration withcustomer and integration with supplier. Divided the SCM performance into SCMefficiency and SCM value. Proposed hypotheses, established the conceptual model onhow the SCM integration impacts the SCM performance.In this thesis, used the empirical analysis and based on existing research,developed the scales on SCM integration and SCM performance, made thequestionnaire to the components manufacture of medical imaging system, then did thestatistical analysis on the questionnaire result, verified the hypotheses, and discussed the result.According to the empirical analysis,this thesis got some conclusion on the impactswhich SCM integration did to SCM performance: the four dimensions of SCMintegration has significant impact on the SCM efficiency,and except the SCM internalinformation integration, other3dimensions of SCM integration also has significantimpact on SCM value. The impact level of the SCM integration dimensions to SCMperformance dimension also different. Based on these conclusions, this thesis proposedsome suggestions which help to speed up the SCM integration, improve the SCMperformance, makes this company win the competition, catch the opportunity of themedical imaging system business growing up, and make this industry become biggerand stronger.
