Since the 1980s, China’s urbanization progresses, urbanization requires a lot of land for construction as the basis, the city in the expansion process, the Suburbs of farmland due to urban expansion are a large number of collection or used for industrial park development and construction or for infrastructure. Landless farmers obtain monetary compensation of, but the means of monetary compensation of landless peasants unable to solve the livelihood problems that can not benefit from the long-term security of landless peasants. To make finding a better way of landless peasants, economically developed coastal regions pioneered the use of models to stay positioned as an effective complement to monetary compensation. Lien placed way, refers to the state at the time of expropriation of farmland, the development and utilization in the relevant area outside the planning area or planning to provide farmers with part of the proportion of land for construction, land to be expropriated village collective (group) as a third collective industry and land use. Indwelling arranged to farmers, to a certain extent to ensure their basic living and long-term benefits provided the material basis for security, but the development and utilization of land around the retention mode is not the same diameter, various development model also has its own advantages disadvantages. What kind of development and utilization, I believe that the great research significance of this paper relevant theoretical research as a starting point, in-depth analysis of lien to Yulin City Yuzhou Shi Tong community development history, current situation in order to develop an indwelling stone tong community development model, the development process and the reasons for the problems to sort out, and then to explore a new path of development of rural retention.
