Because of energy shortages, the economy has begun to constrain the pace ofdevelopment, and "power shortage, coal shortage and Oil Shortage" has become the focusproblems. Under the energy shortages background, China will use nuclear power to solveenergy shortage and environmental issues. In the "11th Five-Year" plan, it has a clearstrategy for the development of nuclear power by the "appropriate development" to "activedevelopment".Tianwan Nuclear Power Station was agreed to co-operate to build two large nuclearpower units in the "9th Five-Year" plan, which total investment of 26 billion yuan, as wellas the current maximum capacity of nuclear power generating units. In this article we studyTianwan nuclear power plant construction project, focusing on the progress of the projectto control the practice and seek to absorb foreign advanced project management theory andthe method of authority theory. Progress plan is the benchmark for progress control, basedon the structure of activities in accordance with the definition activities determined in theorder that estimated resource requirements, the estimated time of completion. Tianwannuclear power projects in progress control system and method, which describes theprogress of control, the progress of restructuring, Progress amendments and other content,analysis of the controlling factors constraining progress, the progress of inspections andsummarizes the progress of control which are used to pay the contract control, documentcontrol and coordination meetings by means control methods. In the application of projectmanagement software P3E/C, it describes the shortage and role on the control. Finally, theresult of time control in the Tianwan power station which adopts the virtual way to changeand revise the main line schedule makes the project well. For the construction of thefollowing project, inform centre has been built in Tianwan power station which isproceeding in an orderly progress of control result appropriate corrective measures and theongoing archiving project of the experience.
