Under the background of the State attaching great importance to scientific and technological innovation and implementing development strategy innovation driven by innovation, WANFANG STADS is the first to "scientific and technological innovation as an auxiliary tool" for the service concept of software products, which can provide users with timely scientific research and decision support. Quantitative assessment of research findings can also be achieved. The development of WANGFANG STADS software provides comprehensive, in-depth and timely support and service for many kinds of scientific and technological innovation activities, such as topic selection on scientific research, personnel selection and employment, the application of key projects, as well as validation of scientific research, etc.Given by the increasingly fierce competitive environment, Software market is in big demand. To improve software quality and competitiveness in the market.Enterprises have introduced the project management concept, method and experience to standardize the process of software project development so that improves the success rate and competitiveness of software and meets the update needs of customers on the software. However, in the process of software project management, the abstract features of software results to its complexity. Software quality issues have become the most concerned topics for enterprise, so the quality management of software project is particularly important.Taking WANFANG STADS project as an example, this paper makes a comprehensive and deep research on the theory and practice of project quality management. Under the guidance of the quality characteristics of software project and the theoretical knowledge of CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration).We combine the relevant theoretical knowledge, including project management, project quality management, and software project quality management, with project management practices. This paper describes the status of WANFANG STADS project quality management in great detail, analyzes and summarizes the whole process of project quality planning, quality assurance and quality control by using a variety of methods. In accordance with the quality management of the whole process of the software development life cycle, it details the quality plan of each phase of the project and ensures the implement of software quality activities through the quality assurance mechanism independent of the project team. In addition, the paper develops the project quality and impact factors that have been identified by means of cause and effect to analyze fish-bone chart and adopts quality control method to analyze these factors and requirements of various stages of project development.Finally, this paper points out the present situation of the quality of WanFang Infosoft company improvement in software development management and the lack of quality management of WANFANG STADS project and puts forward relevant solutions accordingly. In line with the company’s continuous improvement of the quality of culture, the author provides the idea of continuous improvement of project quality based on CMMI and makes a certain reference and guidance value for carrying out the project quality and level for future similar project quality management promotion.
