Datong Xinrong district is located in Shanxi provice and Mongolia border, its has special natural geographical climate and less than hundred kilometers away from Inner Mongolia Muus Desert, it’s belongs to the loess hilly-gully region, perennial drought less ecologically fragile.After many years of development, the provinces have paid a lot of manpower and resources. Especially the of recent years, to retune cultivated land to grassland or hillside, Beijing and Tianjin sandstorm control and capital projects of water resources manage, ecological environment has a huge change.In this paper, brief study and discuss Xinrong district foresty, introduced the Xinrong district of forestry resources and the status of the forestry. In recent years,Xinrong district foresty has achieve a greatments, but there are also issues of forestry, forest "three defenses "system weak,with the economy downturn, the shortage of financial resources, forestry and other inputs to reduce or no keep up.To solve these problems, propose appropriate countermeasures, and gradually improve the investment and financing mechanism forestry construction, increase financial stability of green barren mountain, the construction of forest public security police information platform to enhance basic information data collection and database construction, increase the development of eco-tourism, improve the ecological environment in mining;forestry industry to increase investment and preferential policies to support.
