The Analysis On The Fluctuation Of Forestry Economic Development In China Since 8th 5-year-plan Period

With the well-development of socialist market-oriented economic system, Chinese economic construction has obtained the significant accomplishment since 1990's. As a critical element of national economic indicators, the advancement of forestry showed the positive pattern as well. The rapid development of economic social enables people improve their realization to the function of forestry and are more dependent on the forestry continuingly, especially concentrating on the increasing demand of forestry ecological benefits. Therefore, our party and governments attached more importance to the forestry, further establish and implement the new forestry develop strategy which consider the ecological development as the principal part, meanwhile, arrange the forestry policy to improve the stride-development of national forestry guided by the theme of environment and development. The forestry department embodied the dual missions both industrial and public welfare which not only supply the abundant timber and other forestry products to the national economic development but also undertake the arduous responsibility of protecting and improving the environment. We should not ignore the forestry economic development when we take the forestry ecological construction seriously for the reason that the well or poor development of forestry economy directly influence the forestry construction whether satisfy the requirements of market-oriented economic system as well as the comprehensive expression in the terms of forestry ecology, economy and social. In the background, the thesis analyses the developing process of our country's forestry since 8th 5- year-plan and discriminates the main characteristics of our country's forestry development in this period.
