In this context, the company must improve project management capabilities, complete the project on time and enhance competitiveness. A project progress management capability is not only the direct embodiment of the competitiveness of enterprises themselves, but also directly affects the company’s benefits.On the basis of analyzing the current situation of project management of B Company, the paper finds out the reasons for the delay of the project and the corresponding countermeasures and put forward the method to solve the project schedule delay, verify the effectiveness of the improvement measures through the specific project.First, analyze the status of the project schedule management of B Company, find out the main reason for the delay of the project schedule. The main factors affecting the progress including people, management methods, design techniques, equipment and materials, and other factors.Secondly, take measures against the cause of progress delay, to improve the quality of people’s comprehensive quality, optimize management method and design technology, strengthen the procurement and acceptance of equipment and materials, etc., in order to improve the project management level of B Company.Finally, we find the method to improve the project schedule delay of B Company.
