When Economic Development and the Foreign Trade has made a huge success at the same time in China, the Export Commodity Structure also changed dramatically, the export trade also completed the transition from primary products to manufactured products. However, the high energy consumption, high emission, high pollution and low value-added mode of foreign trade, resulting in a large number of resources are spent in the long term, CO2 emissions are also increasing.Global climate change put a serious threat on the Economic Growth and the optimization of the Export Commodity Structure, therefore,in order to optimize the Structure of Foreign Trade,to guarantee the sustainable development of economy,to study the relations of the Export Commodity Structure and the Economic Growth under the background of low carbon economy is of great significance. The research using regression analysis method and to establish model of vector autocorrelation to study the relationship between the Export Commodities Structure and the Economic Growth under the background of low carbon economy in China. When study the relationship between the Export Commodity Structure and the Economic Growth under the background of low-carbon economy,it found that,on the one hand, in order to promote the development of economy and foreign trade,a large amount of resources is consumed, and if the economic development and the export commodity structure doesn’t fit, they may also cause damage to the environment, whith lead to resource shortage and environment polluted. On the other hand,China’s backward economic development modelong in the long term leads to the deterioration and damage of the environment,a series of problems like lack of resources, ecological destruction and so on hinder the merchandise exports and economic growth of China.Study selected the annual data of primary products exports, manufactured goods exports,GDP and carbon dioxide emissions from 1985 to 2013 of China, the primary products export and the manufactured goods export is a measure of export commodity structure,GDP is the measure of economic development, the CO2 emissions is the negative effects of production and low carbon economic constraints, using a variety of econometric analysis method to do the analysis of regression and the model testing. The results show that there exists a very close relationship between the merchandise exports and economic growth in China, and in the long run, manufactured goods do better than the primary products in stimulating economic growth, but in the short term,it is on the contrary; The export of manufactured goods will produce a large number of CO2 emissions, but in return CO2 emissions have no impact on the export of manufactured goods, namely, the export of manufactured goods is the cause of environmental degradation. To summarize short-term dynamic adjustment and long-term equilibrium relations of the low-carbon economy, the foreign trade and economic growth, shows that development of low carbon economy plays an important role in optimizing the export commodities structure and to guarantee the sustainable, stable and healthy development in China.According to the empirical results give suggestions,to alleviate environmental pressures faced by foreign trade and economic growth,China needs to promote transformation and upgrading of processing trade, and enhancing the added value of the export products, and promote industrial structure transformation, optimize the structure of export commodities, encourage low carbon energy technology innovation, develop the low carbon industry.
