Research On The South City Of Dongguan’s Residents’ Awareness And Willingness To Pay For The Cultivated Land

Everyone need food which cannot exist without land. Land is the foundation of human survival, without land, there will not be able to provide human survival of natural resources and the necessary articles for daily use, especially cultivated land. Since primitive hunting society into the agricultural society the cultivated land has always been one of the keys to change dynasties rise and fall, so since 1949 our country has attention in the land, especially in cultivated land.Although our country make "treasure and rational utilization of land, to protect cultivated land," as a basic national policy of our country which must insist for a long time. But in the actual processing of cultivated land protection long-term interests and short-term interests conflict with economic development, we often lack cultivated land protection consciousness, some places has the phenomenon of changing cultivated land into construction land, and taking inferior land as cultivated land for compensation. The research works on the south city of Dongguan’s residents’ awareness and willingness to pay for the cultivated land. The author uses the combination of questionnaire survey method, literature method, the typical interview and qualitative analysis, through the research on cultivated land protection consciousness and willingness to pay of the residents of Dongguan Nancheng, analysis of China’s arable land protection policy implementation of outreach, and puts forward some suggestions, such as increasing the public advertisement benefit propaganda, strengthen the supervision function the implementation of public policies of cultivated land protection, improving public participation in land protection in spontaneously and enthusiasm, disclosing the quantity and actual condition of cultivated land, guiding social welfare projects in land protection and development, establishing the farmland external packaging products trading market, to provide reference and decision reference for further improvement of cultivated land protection system in china.
