Research On Cultivated Land Protection Of County

Cultivated land is the core of land resources, and its quantity and quality is a basic guarntee for production of grain. So it is necessary to remain certain cultivated land for exsitence and development of human being and is a key to food security. As we all know, China is a developing country with a largest population and the biggest agriculture, and now with the development of society and economy, adding to agricultural structure adjustment, industrialization and urbanization, and the protection of ecological environment, a large amount of cultivated land would be needed. Meanwhile our country has a larger population and fewer land, all of these makes the situation of cultivated land be very serious, and leds to regional cultivated land protection become a hot spot. And by studying, we can improve our understangding of cultivated land protection, and provides references and basis for rational land use and cultivated land protection effectively.This paper, take Rongchang County of Chongqing as an example, studies the protection of county cultivated land in terms of cultivated land quantity, cultivated land quality and cultivated land ecological environment with a roundly and systemtically insight.This paper consists of six chapters.Chapter One is a documentary summary of the cultivated land protection. It briefly states the practice and theroy of cultivated land protection at abroad, and points out enlightments to our cultivated land protection. At the same time, it also studies the cultivated land protection of our country in terms of cultivated land quantity, cultivated land quality and cultivated land ecological environment, and points out its shortcomings.Chapter Two is Preface, it gives a brief introductions to the background of article and the significance of study. Study methods and route about the subject are also introduced.Chapter Three is the protection of cultivated land quantity. This chapter, based on the statistical data over the past nearly 10 years and detailed investigation of land use during the recent years, analyzes the process of cultivated land quantity change and its effect factors. Reduction of cultivated land for construction land every year has been ill correlated to the development of economy and society since 1996,but accumulated reduction of cultivated land for construction has been well correlated to these factors. On the basis of the driving forces of the cultivated land quantity change and according to the reality of the contraction between land and man in future, some countermeasures are put forward to protect cultivated land quantity effectively. Chapter Four is the protection of cultivated land quality. This chapter analyzes the quality of cultivated land in terms of grain yield cultivated land, slope cultivated land, primany cultivated land and cultivated land with water suppliers. And take into soil is the basis to cultivated land quality account, and the data collected, meanwhile on the basis of soil data, it also evaluates the cultivated land quality with quantitative methods. Finally it brings about some countermeasures and suggestions.Chapter Five is the protection of cultivated land ecological environment. This chapter, from the strategic point of view, based on the whole ecological environment of the Rongchang County, analyzes the current situation, existing main problems and its trend of ecological environment in details. At last, some advice are put forward to protect ecological environment and for sustainable development.Chapter Six, Conclusions and Dicussions. It is a conclusion of the whole paper, and also points out some discussions to researth further.The results of the paper can help to the land use rationally and make contribution to cultivated land protection further.
