Feasibility Analysis Of The Free Trade Area Between China,russia, Kazakhstan And Belarus

This research is based on the background of the Silk Road Economic Zone, the purpose of the research is to analysis the feasibility of a free trade area between China and nations on the Silk Road Economic Zone. Kazakhstan is the biggest country in Mid Asia and very important to the development of the Silk Road Economic Zone.But the reality is that the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia was established in 2010, so China is unlikely to reach a free trade agreement with Kazakhstan alone. The customs union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia be came Eurasian Economic Union in 2015.As a result,this research have done the quantitative analysis,comparative analysis based on the trade data of Chinese,Kazakhstan,Russia,Belarus, than predicted the trade potential and welfare changes of a free trade area between China and Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia by the mathematical model. Analyzed the external environment and the difficulty of establishment a free trade area between China and Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Finally, this research suggested that Chinese should come to a free trade agreement with Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia In spite of difficulties.
