Talent is the most fundamental and crucial resource. Human resource is the key factor of the survival and development of enterprises. The present and future development of enterprises is dependent upon the quantity and quality of the talents which enterprises have owned. To survive and develop in cruel market competition, the enterprises on one hand have to optimize their organization and boost system and mechanism innovation and on the other hand have to enhance the training of their employees and keep the development of human resources in which a thorough training system to employees is a safeguard to promote the training performance. Effective employee training can correct their understandings, improve their skills and ability, realize personal values and reinforce the confidence in serving the enterprises, thus providing continuous power for the participation of enterprises in competition. As a leading company in the fabrication of thermal power equipment, Dongfang Boiler Group Co., Ltd(DBC) has a competitive edge in technology development and product manufacture. DBC sets the object of creating a “Century’s Standing Enterprise” which imposes new requirements on human resource management, especially on training and development of human resource.Taking DBC which the author has been worked for many years as an example and adopting such methods as literature research, questionnaire survey and work analysis, the author has analyzed DBC’s current employee training system and found the existing problems, based on which this system is re-designed. This thesis comprehensively elaborates the knowledge of the enterprises’ employee training, nails down the composition elements of the enterprises’ employee training system as well as analyzes the training system status and the existing problems. After the analysis of the human resource structure and the current training system, main problems existing in the training system are found, such as the employee training program is not targeted, the training content is too single, the training methods are not flexible, the employee training effectiveness evaluation system is not scientific, the training course framework is not established, the level of the internal trainer needs to be improved and the employee training system is not perfect. Then DBC’s employee training system is re designed. The re-designed system consists of two aspects: the process optimization of employee training system and the construction of strong implementation safeguard of the training system, and also nails down the objective and the principles to be insisted. With regard to the process optimization of training system, the focuses are put on the study of training requirements and the construction of the training effectiveness evaluation mechanism. With regard to the implementation safeguard, the focuses are put on the building of internal trainer team and the development of training course system. The preliminary achievement of the re-designed training system has been validated through the practical fruit gained during the construction of training system of the employee in skillful and operational posts.This thesis focuses on diagnosis of enterprises employee training and the optimizing measures put forward are also based on the reality of enterprises work. It is expected that the study in this thesis will provide reference for the training of power equipment manufacturing enterprises.
