As the pillar industry of national economy, the power industry’s development is closely related to Chinese economic lifeline. In recent years, The State Grid Corporation of China explicitly proposed to establish the employee performance management system with an emphasis on the quantitative evaluation. However, the subordinate power supply companies still have a huge gap on the performance management level, which some is good and other is bad, due to regional differences and discriminating economic development level. The paper firstly combines the latest theory on performance management and researches the classic cases of famous enterprises at home and abroad, then according to real status about the Zhejiang Mao county power supply company’s employee performance management, finally points out its problems on the performance evaluation process, the results application, the improved method and the guarantee mechanism and puts forward the improvement of performance management. The new scheme carry on the design the performance management system according to personal performance management process, the department of performance management process and the company performance management process three aspects, and making the performance management more hierarchically, and orderly to conduct. In addition, the new scheme also add to the appeal system for further protect the rights and interests of employees and the "three fairs" of the performance management, and achieve the two-way transmission of information to ensure the accuracy and completeness. Secondly, the new scheme broaden the results of performance appraisal, the results and the employee’s salary adjustment, job change, training and career planning are closely linked. In addition, the new scheme import the lean score evaluation method, which is more fair and just and optimize the team performance management. Finally, further establish and improve the performance management, evaluate the improvement mechanism and perfect the performance plan, implementation, feedback and handling mechanism.After conduct the implement and improvement scheme, this paper also uses the method of fuzzy mathematics and analytic hierarchy process to establish the effect evaluation index system, designs the evaluation model.and take the real data of the Zhejiang Mao county power supply company’s employee performance management as an example to effectively evaluate the improved performance management mechanism, but also to provides continuous improvement direction and thought.In this paper, the thought of the performance management system has universality, for the same type of enterprises provides a thought and the reference on the reform performance management system. Employee performance management system established in the paper has strong scientific and practical, also can draw lessons from other industries.
