With the coming of the era of the economy globalization, the competition from the internal and international market becomes keener and keener. More and more people realize that manpower resource is not only the first resource, but also the key to giving a company a competitive advantage. Practice proves that you'll win in the competition if you pay more attention to the development and management of the manpower resource, and keep the requirement of the employees consistent with the company goal. During the course of the development and management of manpower resource, the performance management seems more important. It is just like a sword with two blades. If the result of the performance management is good, it can help the company attract more excellent talents and raise the whole company efficiency and make the best economic benefit at the same time, whereas it can shake the employee's morale and affect the power of the company competition. At present, the power supply company is at a changing stage— from the traditional personal administration to the modern manpower resource management. The present important task is how to make the performance management connect with the word-famous companies. This paper starts from the basic theory and method of performance management, and systematically introduces the general model of performance management. In combination with the specific performance management of Changzhou Power Supply Company, this paper makes an all-round study of the performance management system design, and successfully designs an integral employee performance management system which is geared to the needs of the company. I hope this system can have an active effect on promoting the company management and improving the whole company strength.
