| With the changing and increasingly market competition, and continous increased customer requirements, the traditional production management system is getting more and more difficult to fulfill to the needs of the market. With certain development of lean production management systems, lean production is getting more mature with widen application. At the same time in different industries, different companies have developed their own characteristics in lean production.Refer to value stream management in Bosch Auto Components (Changsha) Co., Ltd, we studied and improved the value stream management of window lift drives. Deeply analysis the current situation and work out improvement proposals for value stream management of window lift drives.Firstly, we established a matrix between planned product production cost and value stream key performance indicators. According to the matrix, it is easy to identify the benefits of improvement projects. It improved resources usage return of company.Secondly, base on the interaction among input, output and operation processes of value steam management, we summarized systematic thinking theory and methodology of value stream management and support to promote value stream management.Then, during the value steam improvements, we setup value steam KPI visualization of in shopfloor to share value stream improvement activities and results to each management level and direct operators in shopfloor clearly. It improved the improvement activities implementation in shopfloor and improves the understanding, and involve all associates to join and support continues improvement process.Finally, we introduced the value stream oriented organization according to value stream office structure. It improves the organization communication and team producitivity.Through the improvement of value stream management, improved product manufacturing costs and productivity. Also the improvement methodology is good reference for other product value stream. |
