The Inventory Optimized Management Of SIC Company Under Supply Chain Environment

Since twenty-first century, the competition between enterprises has all-round development as the supply chain competition. under this background, supply chain management has become the key to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, while the inventory management is a very important aspect in the supply chain management. Not only to meet the growing requirements from customer and shorten the delivery time, but also control the inventory cost. Therefore, inventory management and control is one of the important content of enterprise management. The research of inventory management can improve inventory management capabilities, also can enhance their competitiveness. Therefore, enterprises should start from their own characteristics, to find a suitable inventory management mode based on their own supply chain management, to meet demand from customer with the fastest delivery, best quality service, at the same time to minimize inventory levels, reduce unnecessary costs, enhance the supply chain’s profit ability, make the enterprises remain invincible in the competition in supply chain.This paper takes SIC company as the research object, comprehensive use of the theory of supply chain and supply chain management, study on inventory management under supply chain environment and comparison of several popular inventory management mode of supply chain (VMI、JMI and CFPR), use of their management method, analysis of SIC company’s current situation of supply chain management and the exisiting problem of inventory management, and analyzes the cause of inventory. Based on these, the paper focuses on the design of SIC company’s product inventory management model, put forward to the supply chain department of SIC company as core, the implementation of supply chain optimization management, and carry out the scheme to optimize supply chain inventory management, reduce the cost, ensure products supply level and control inventory level as the goal. This paper not only can help SIC Company to optimize inventory management, reduce operation costs, improve customer satisfaction, also has certain reference value for the similar trade type enterprise.
