At present, China’s seed industry is faced with many precious opportunities such as the accelerated pace of economic globalization, China’s agricultural industry the flourishing of the international leadership in scientific research on some seeds and so on. At the same time, they are also facing strong competition of foreign seed companies, the general weakness of domestic seed companies, disorderly competition in the seed market, the lagging behind administration of seed market and other challenges.Sichuan XF seeds companies (XF) was established in august2001. As a new seed company, the company has become a prominent Organization among the same industries in Sichuan as well as in southwest, however, some problems also exist. Among the various domestic seed enterprise development models, for the differences of development stage and environment, it is difficult to find a successful model that fits to XF Company. Therefore XF Company intends to seek its own way to succeed through its own innovation and exploration, so that the company achieves a comprehensive, healthy and sustainable development.As a top manager from the XF Company, the author expects to research and analyze the development and operation of the XF Company conscientiously based on the gained EMBA knowledge. This article aims to analyze the development strategy of the XF Company, find the development bottleneck and the settling strategies so as to accelerate the XF Company’s comprehensive and sustainable development.The article is divided into four chapters.The First Chapter introduces. the development progress, current situation and the problems of the XF Company.This chapter reviews the background of the establishment and the development progress first of all; and then elaborates the current situation of the XF Company and provides the existing main problems in the development. The Second Chapter is about the SWOT Analysis of the XF Company.This Chapter summarizes the strategy management of the XF Company and then uses the SWOT Analysis to analyze the external macro and microenvironment by applying the PEST Model and the Five-Force Model separately. This chapter analyzes the internal environment at the end.The chapter shows the opportunities and the threat faced by the company clearly and also shows the internal advantages and disadvantages by analyzing the environmental factors of the development. It provides the full and accurate basis for the making of strategies of the company in the followed chapter.The Third Chapter proposes the strategy of the XF Company.This chapter provides the developing strategic target for the company based on the SWOT Analysis in the previous chapter. And this chapter provides developing strategy and functional strategy fully based on the principle that "giving play to strong points, turning round inferior position, holding the opportunity, avoiding the threat".The Fourth Chapter describes the implementation and the control of the strategy for the company.This chapter particularly implements the developing strategy for the company through the enforcement based on the organization guarantee first of all, and then suggests the strategic control of the company.The author expects that XF Company can catch up with internal and external changes in time and efficiently based on this article and can manage reasonably and efficiently integrating the self-beneficial sources. The author also expects this article to support the comprehensive and sustainable development for the company.The author cordially invites the respectful teachers to make corrections and point out the mistakes and careless omissions in this article since the author has limited knowledge.
