Research Of Headquarter Economy Featured Industry Of Beijing

Concept related to Headquarter Economy appeared in1990s. Researchers recognized that management process always happened in the cities, and here came out the concept of "Headquarter Economy city". Zhao Hong, vice president of Beijing Academy of Social Sciences explicitly put forward the concept of "Headquarter Economy" first and the theory related to it. From then on, more and more researchers are paying attention to Headquarter Economy. Headquarter Economy now has become a hot issue which is related to the development of city. It provides a guidance of industrial structure upgrade and the transformation of urban function.First, this paper puts forward the concept of Headquarter Economy featured industry on the basis of former research. Then it points out that Headquarter Economy featured industry includes Information communication, computer service and software industry, Financial industry, Research and experimental industry, and demonstrates the reason.Second, this paper studies the basic situation of Headquarter Economy featured industry, which includes its industry revenue, profits, number of companies and employees, etc; the evaluation index related to industrial structure, which includes its initial input structure, intermediate input structure, intermediate input rate, etc; the evaluation index related to industrial relationship, which includes its influence coefficient, sensitivity coefficient, complete consumption coefficient, etc. The main method we use here is input-output method.At last, according to the research of Headquarter Economy featured industry, this paper draws a picture which could describe how Headquarter Economy effects the development of Beijing. This paper also gives several suggestions about how to make Headquarter Economy develop better in the future in Beijing.
