Remuneration design not only is the premise and a important part for the establishment of modern management system, but also an important aspect of human resources development and management. Its effect on improving the competitiveness of enterprises is bu no means negligible.Originally composed by six large-scale mining companies in Shandong province, SDNY now ranks among the Fortune500. After the establishment of the Group headquarter, an important task is to design its own characteristic renumeration system. According to the development goals and management functions that SDNY identifies for itself, it is no longer a traditional mining company, but a modern energy enterprise moving towards the modernization and internationalization. Based on this goal, the renumeration system of SDNY headquarter can not be a simply copy of what is implemented in the original mining companies. Based on extensive survey data, the theory of human resource management and renumeration management, incentive theory and the practical experience of numerous other enterprises, this paper provides a set of remuneration schemes.The paper starts with a brief introduction of the concepts and theories of remuneration management; it then gives a specific analysis of the characteristics of the headquarter management positions based on the background and development strategy of SDNY; based on the actual situation, it designs a new renumeration system and proposes according measures in order to solve new problems under the new system in a timely manner; finally, the paper sums up the research situation.
