Along with the continuous deepening of the integration of worldtrade, the competition of the market becomes fiercer than ever,manufacturing enterprises have entered the era of little profit, in order toimprove their competitiveness and occupy a space for one person in themarket, many enterprises started to improve production efficiency, reduceproduction cost and shorten delivery cycles by implementing leanproduction methods, so as to better meet the needs of customers and winmore market orders. Value Stream Mapping(VSM)is a visualizing toolof systematic analysis to implement lean production that can help peoplehow to find out the problem in a scientific manner and optimize it in asystematic manner.This article from the perspective of lean production, combined withthe related theories and methods of kanban management and industrialengineering, taking H company TJ500products as the research object, theauthor has analyzed the production process of TJ500products by usingthe value stream mapping analysis technology, proposed andimplemented a whole set of optimization scheme of production processaccording to the analysis of the problems. Firstly, the author analyses theproduction technology process of products, through improving theoperation way of the bottleneck workstation, massive waiting time iseliminated and the total operating time has shortened for35.9%; secondly,the moving routes of workshop are analyzed, through improving theworkshop layout, the production area reduces33.02%, and the totalmoving distance shortens for77.01%; besides, through using the pullsystem of production kanban, the number of work-in-process inventoryhas reduced and the one flow production pattern is basically realized.Through implementing production process optimization scheme, themajor lean production index of TJ500products has been significantlyimproved, such as the delivery cycle is shortened from42.22days to19.82days; the MCE(Manufacturing Cycle Efficiency)is enhanced36.56%; the production line balance rate has increased from25.13%to 83.37%; First Time Through and the quality stability are highly boosted.
