The Study Of The Non-material Motivating System For SG Corporation

During the significant growth in the living standard and the literacy condition in China, all of employees will be encouraged by an effective motivating system which is combined by non-material and material supporting, and contribute a sustainable development to company. The well considered motivation will also improve the competitive edge for the company. A performance appraisal system is a pressing matter for the management and company owner at the moment.This thesis takes the SG Corporation as the research object, specifically studies the project of building up the non material motivating system. The thesis firstly elaborates the background and significance of the research. After retrieving and reading massive related literatures, the thesis introduces the theories about employee motivating. Based on the review of these related theories, we check the currently motivating system of SG Corporation, and analysis the root cause for the influence dropping of the performance appraisal, points out the problems of the current incentive system that the system isn’t completely suitable for cover all side of the needed motivation, specially the non-material motivation. Therefore, build up a well non-material motivating system is the case we should do at the moment. We do some survey for different department of SG Corporation, and get the idea that every different function department have different requirement on the encourage, so we listed the main requirement for four main function, and analysis the relative motivating factor for the individual personality, then make a matrix for how to implement the non material motivation.This thesis integrates the theory of motivating and the evaluation of the different personality into the practice of the SG Corporation. The non material motivating system is not only the effective tool for SG Corporation, also a model for the peer company.
