Since great change happened to China’s rural economic system in1980s, rural labortransfer has attracted increasing attention from academic circle at home and abroad. Recently,domestic researchers has deteted the lagment of minority rural labor transfer in remote areasand explored possible regarding reasons from different perspectives such as economicstructure, environmental condition, customs, etc. However, analysis of characteristics of suchlagment is not so abandant, especially regularity in selecting location.Based upon investigated data, this article firstly analizes the distributin of transferredminority rural labor, and then explored the relationship between individual labor and theirchoice of transfer destination. At last it comes to the multiple linerar regression analysis ofindividual factors of minority labor transfer.The author takes such independent variables intoconsideration as gende, age, marital status, ethnic group, education level, house income percapital, house farmland per capital, number of family labors, family members’healthcondition, number of teenage children, and takes transfer location as dependent variable. Theresult shows that it is marital status, ethnic group, house farmland per capital, number offamily labors, family members’health condition that pose weighty influence to locationselection, rather than the other factors.
